I have a file called "The Drawing Board" where I keep future works in varying degrees of completion from almost stick-man sketches to DND (damned near done). The point is that there are many more pieces to come and I will finally get to the promised EMT paintings, the pieces focused on engineers, specialty rescues, and even one featuring the rescue of the family dog. 		Two decades have passed since Allan Albaitis first rolled with an engine company. His career has taken him to some truly legendary fires. It is through these eyes that he creates the awesome and inspiring visions of FireArt. 	As FireArt has grown, I've come to realize that there will be many types of products that will "spin off" of some of the artwork. It is my hope, for instance, that the icon used as the centerpiece in "Colors Of Remembrance" will someday be a belt buckle that can be worn on duty, or at least a lapel pin to remind us of our promise. 	I consider myself to be logical and considering the number of times that I have gotten through a tight spot that I shouldn't have, it's more logical that there are guardians than that I'm just lucky. It is far, far beyond luck. Now, it's something I just know. Nobody's that lucky. "Guardians" as a work, had great press, a strong launching and a message that continues to strike a nerve with my brother and sister firefighters. When it sold out as a signed and numbered lithograph, it was obvious that there would have to be a follow up print. "Guardians II, Sunrise" is the result.
